Uji Progeni Hasil Persilangan Ikan Nilem (Osteochilus hasselti) Jantan Fungsional Dengan Betina Normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pasangan nilem jantan fungsional dengan nilem betina normal yang menghasilkan persentase benih ikan nilem populasi betina tertinggi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental, yaitu dengan menyilangkan satu betina ikan nilem normal dengan dua belas ikan nilem jantan fungsional. Parameter yang diamati meliputi persentase kelamin jantan dan betina dengan uji progeni menggunakan metode asetokarmin serta mengetahui tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan nilem progeni. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persilangan ikan nilem jantan fungsional dengan ikan nilem betina normal menghasilkan populasi ikan nilem betina tertinggi dengan persentase 90%. Jadi untuk mendapatkan keturunan ikan nilem all female atau populasi ikan nilem betina dengan > 90% dapat menggunakan induk ikan nilem jantan fungsional dengan kode ikan A-2, A-4 dan A-9. This study aimed to determine the hybrid of functional male silver sharkminow fish with normal female that produced the percentage of the highest population of silver sharkminow seed. The study was conducted by using an experimental method by hybridzing a normal female silver sharkminow with twelve functional male silver sharkminow. The observed parameters were the percentage of male and female with progeny test using asetokarmin method and the survival rate of progeny silver sharkminow fish. The results showed that the hybrid of functional male silver sharkminow fish with normal female silver sharkminow fish produced the highest population of female silver sharkminow fish with percentage of 90%. So, to get all female silver sharkminow seed or female silver sharkminow seed or female silver sharkminow population with >90% could use the brood of functional male silver sharkminow with the codes of A-2, A-4 and A-9.
