Untuk mengetahui lebih dalam mengenai aktivitas analgesik pada tumbuhan ceplukan maka perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dari tumbuhan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas analgesik fraksi n-heksan, etil asetat, dan air dari daun ceplukan(Physalis angulata L.) pada mencit dengan metode geliat. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode geliat dengan penginduksi asam asetat 0,7%. Bahan uji diberikan secara oral dengan dosis 500 mg/kg BB. Sebagai kontrol positif digunakan asetosal dengan dosis 65 mg/kg BB. Aktivitas analgesik dilakukan dengan mengamati geliat mencit setelah diinduksi asam asetat 0,7%. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing fraksi memberikan aktivitas analgesik. Fraksi yang memberikan persen efektifitas terbesar adalah fraksi n-heksan sebesar 71,04%, diikuti fraksi air (66,94%), dan fraksi etil asetat (24,86%). One example of a nutritious plant as a pain reliever is ceplukan plant (Physalis angulata L.). To find out more about the analgesic activity in these ceplukan it is necessary to further research of these plants. This research aims to determine the analgesic activity of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water fraction from ceplukan (Physalis angulata L.) leaves in mice by writhing method. The research is done using the writhing method which was acetic acid 0.7% as an inductor. The test substance is administered orally at a dose of 500 mg / kg of body weight. Aspirin is used as a positive controls at a dose of 65 mg / kg of body weight. Analgesic activity is done by observe writhing of the mice after the acetic acid 0.7% induced. Test results showed that each fraction giving analgesic activity.
