This is because inappropriate complementary feeding is the main cause of malnutrition in infants and children. It was also found that health workers did not understand infant and child feeding practices well, which affected the effectiveness of sharing knowledge with mothers and created a gap between health workers and mothers related to stunting in children. Therefore, the practice of delivering information and education owned and carried out by doctors have an important role in complementary feeding education. To fill this gap, the role of medical students as prospective doctors is needed. Objectives: Describe medical students` communication skills in providing complementary feeding. Materials and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional-based questionnaire conducted among 4th-year medical students in West Java from October to December 2022. A questionnaire was given to ascertain knowledge and attitude regarding complementary feeding and the practice of providing complementary feeding materials. Statistical analysis was done using SPSS Version 29. Results: Overall, the results of practice in this study show that most of the respondents had a score below the median for communication skills (16), although they had a good score for knowledge with a good and fair score (38%, 35.8%). Conclusion: 4th-year of medical students in this study had good knowledge about complementary feeding and a more positive attitude toward it than they did about the actual teaching methods of complementary feeding. Furthermore, training should include techniques for conveying the needed medical skills to be highly effective. All facets of knowledge, attitude, and communication skills, must be taught at all stages of medical education because they will make up a future health professionals Keywords : 1; Knowledge 2; Attitude 3; Communication skills 4; Medical studentsPengetahuanSikapPraktikPengetahuan dan Sikap Mengenai Pemberian Makanan Bayi dan Anak Usia 6-24 Bulan Serta Praktik Pemberian Materi PMBA Oleh Mahasiswa Kedokteran di Jawa Barat
