Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian mengenai aktivitas ekstrak etanol kacang hijau (Vigna radiata (L.) R. Wilczek) terhadap jumlah trombosit, eritrosit, dan kadar hematokrit pada tikus putih jantan galur Wistar. Dosis ekstrak etanol kacang hijau adalah 250 mg/kg BB dan 500 mg/kg BB diberikan secara oral. Pengamatan perubahan parameter – parameter tersebut dilakukan setelah tujuh hari pemberian ekstrak. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan yang mempunyai perbedaan nyata terhadap kontrol negatif pada peningkatan jumlah trombosit, eritrosit, dan kadar hematokrit yaitu ekstrak etanol kacang hijau dosis 500 mg/kg BB. Therefore, the study was conducted to determine the activity of ethanol extract of mung bean (Vigna radiata (L.) R. Wilczek) to the number of platelets, erythrocytes, and hematocrit levels in white male rats strain Wistar. Doses of ethanol extract of mung beans was 250 mg / kg and 500 mg / kg administered orally. Observation of changes in the parameters is made after seven days of extract administration.
