Item PERBANDINGAN DISAIN PREPARASI INCISAL BUTT-JOINT DAN INCISAL OVERLAP TERHADAP KETAHANAN FRAKTUR VENEER KERAMIK LAMINASI(2013-01-21) CHRISTIE RIZKI; Tidak ada Data Dosen; Tidak ada Data DosenTerdapat perbedaan pendapat mengenai disain preparasi yang menutupi bagian insisal gigi terhadap ketahanan fraktur veneer keramik laminasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membandingkan disain preparasi incisal butt-joint dan incisal overlap terhadap ketahanan fraktur veneer keramik laminasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan menggunakan sampel 12 gigi insisif sentral rahang atas yang memenuhi kriteria, yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok. Sampel kelompok pertama dipreparasi dengan disain preparasi incisal butt-joint dan kelompok kedua dipreparasi dengan disain preparasi incisal overlap, kemudian dibuat restorasi veneer keramik laminasi dan disemenkan pada gigi yang telah dipreparasi. Pada semua sampel dilakukan uji tekan. Hasil uji tekan dianalisis memakai uji t-student. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok disain preparasi incisal butt-joint dan kelompok disain preparasi incisal overlap. Rata-rata gaya pada kelompok disain preparasi incisal butt-joint sebesar 513,05 Newton (N) dengan standar deviasi 81,928 N, sedangkan pada kelompok disain preparasi incisal overlap sebesar 433,16 N dengan standar deviasi 69,462 N. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketahanan fraktur veneer keramik laminasi dengan disain preparasi incisal butt-joint lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan disain preparasi incisal overlap. The incisal coverage preparation design toward fracture resistance of ceramic laminate veneer is still in contradiction. The purpose of this study is to compare fracture resistance of ceramic laminate veneer with incisal butt-joint and incisal overlap preparation design. The study was a laboratory experimental study. It was using 12 upper central incisors that met the criteria in the study. All specimens were divided into two experimental groups. The first group sample prepared using incisal butt-joint preparation design and the second group prepared using incisal overlap preparation design. After the preparation were completed, ceramic laminate veneer restorations were made and cemented to the prepared teeth. All samples were tested with compressive test. The results were analyzed using t-student test. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between the incisal butt-joint preparation design group and incisal overlap preparation design group. The mean load in the incisal butt-joint group was 513,05 Newton (N) with a 81,928 N standard deviation, while the incisal overlap group showed a value of 433,16 N with a 69,462 N standard deviation. The results of this study concluded that the fracture resistance of the ceramic laminate veneer with incisal butt-joint preparation design was higher than incisal overlap preparation design.
