Item ORGAN INVOLVEMENT AND IMMUNOBLOT ANTIBODY PROFILE AMONG CHILDHOOD-ONSET SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYHTEMATOSUS AT SINGLE TERTIARY HOSPITAL(2023-02-20) MICHAEL PUTRA NUGROHO; Adhi Kristianto Sugianli; Raden Reni Ghrahani Dewi MajangsariBackground: Childhood-onset Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (cSLE) is life threatening multisystem disease with various organ involvement. The positive ANA test result indicates the patient potentially has an autoimmune disease. There is information gap Immunoblot antibody profile with organ involevement in cSLE. Objective: to describe the characteristics of cSLE, particularly organ involvement and immunoblot antibody profiles at Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted at Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Bandung using retrospective data collection from medical records of hospitalized pediatric with SLE according ICD-10. Data of patients age, gender, organ involvement and ANA profiles were analysed and reported as the occurrence in cSLE. Result: most of cSLE were female (22/24, 91.7%) with age-onset during adolescence (19/24, 79.2%). Mucocutaneus (23/24, 95.8%), hematologic abnormalities (19/24, 79.2%) and kidney (15/24, 625%) were the most common organ involvement. The most predominantly antibody profiles among organ involvement in cSLE were anti-nRNP/Sm, anti-Nucleosome and antidsDNA. Anti-nRNP/Sm was detected most among organ involvement, except muscle and kidney. anti-Nucleosome was detected in mucocutaneus, muscle, kidney and neuropsychiatry involvement. Conclusion: the occurrence of anti- nRNPsm, anti-nucleosome and anti- dsDNA, remains dominant, as detected among all organ involvement. These antibody attribute to antibody complexes that promote pathogenesis of cSLE.
