Tourism Contribution on Fishermen Household Income in Mutun Beach
Lampung
Research on Marine Tourism Contribution on Fishermen Household Income
in Mutun Beach Lampung has been carried out from July until August 2012 at
Sukajaya Village, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. The study was
conducted to assess the marine tourism potencies in Mutun Beach, to analyze the
enterprises feasibility of fishing households, to analyze fishermen home-based
business in marine tourism locations and measure the contribution of marine
tourism on fisherman household income. This study used survey method, using
interview techniques by questionnaire to be interviewed were 30 respondents. The
results showed that income of contribution from marine tourism activities was Rp.
47.902.000 or 48.16%. the contribution of the highest income derived from fish
catches had revenues approximately Rp 50.715.000 or 51.84%. Mutun beach
tourism could be an income alternative especially on drought season.
