dc.description.abstractThe use of synthetic pesticides are very intensive in conventional farming system, that cause of the accumulation of pesticide residues in soil. Cultivation technology of alternatif that can minimize the occurrence of pesticide residue accumulation, i.e. eco-farming system. The aim of this study was to find out the content of pesticide residues on soil cultivation system of applying conventional and eco-farming system. This study was conducted since October, 2014 – June, 2015. Housed in one of the vegetable production center in West Java, at Sukamanah Village, Subdistrict of Pangalengan. This study was carried out using survey method. Soil sample from conventional farming and eco farming were analyzed using Gas Chromatography with Elcetron Capture Detector. Result showed, the content of mankozeb fungicides residues were detected on conventional farming system are higher (0.055 mg/kg – 0,083 mg/kg), than eco-farming soil (mg/kg – 0,027 0,038 mg/kg). The amount of peak on kromatogram alleged other pesticide residues in conventional agricultural systems as much as 23 – 24 peak, whereas on land the eco-friendly agricultural system that is as much as 26 – 27 peak.
