Azospirillum and Azotobacter bacteria are a group of aerobic bacteria that able to fix nitrogen and easy to adapt in stress environments. Azospirillum and Azotobacter can grow well with ramie phytoremediator plant in contaminated petroleum inceptisol soil. The experiment was carried out at the Laboratory of Soil Biology and Greenhouse of Faculty of Agriculture-Unpad. The experiment consisted of two stages, namely the formulation and selection for optimization of inoculant bioagent and the application of bioagent and organic matter to ramie plants (Boehmeria nivea) on soil contaminated with petroleum waste. The first stage uses a complete random factorial design with three replications, while the second stage uses randomized block factorial design with three replications. The results of the first experiment were the interactions with the total population of the 4th Azospirillum observation in the composition of m3a3 (3% molasses and 2 times Azotobacter) and the total population of the 7th Azotobacter bacteria in the contribution of m3a2 (3% molasses and 1-dose Azotobacter). Furthermore, there is no interaction of nitrogen-fixing bacterial inoculants and organic matter.
