Analisis Strategi Bisnis Independent Power Producer (IPP) pada PT. Sumberdaya Sewatama

Abstract

ABSTRACT Electrical energy has a role to play fundamental to the various development programs strategic launched by the government. The rapid of population growth rate not followed by readiness the government in accommodating flexibility of electricity plant. One of concrete efforts from the government is promoting infrastructure projects construction of power plants with total capacity 35.000 MW that most of which would implemented by private company. The purpose of this research is to learn and acquainted about the background the investment in electrical industry, competition among the electrical company , and acknowledge the policy of business strategy by PT. Sumberdaya Sewatama as one of the electricity private developer companies (IPP). The result showed that the ideal business strategy for Sewatama is by implementing Intensive Strategy by doing Product Development, Market Development, and Market Penetration.
