dc.description.abstract	ABSTRAK Manajer produksi merupakan profesi yang terdapat di dalam suatu kegiatan produksi. Sesuai namanya, manajer produksi memiliki kewajiban untuk mengelola segala kebutuhan produksi dimulai dari praproduksi hingga pascaproduksi. Karya tulis ini akan menjabarkan peranan manajer produksi dalam pembuatan karya video podcast tiktalk berjudul “JALAN SANG RELAWAN” sebagai pemenuhan tugas akhir perkuliahan di program studi Manajemen Produksi Media. Angga Rahmana, narasumber yang akan menceritakan kisahnya langsung merupakan seorang pemuda dengan latar belakang kurang beruntung yang dengan segala kekurangannya mampu menjadi agen perubahan dari permasalahan sosial yang terjadi di kampungnya. Angga merupakan narasumber yang mampu menceritakan ceritanya secara detail dan memiliki kemampuan berbicara yang baik. Podcast berisikan suatu cerita yang bagus untuk disampaikan, namun cara penyampai juga perlu diperhatikan. Maka dari itu Angga dan ceritanya dirasa merupakan paket lengkap untuk dijadikan sebuah karya video podcast. Manajer produksi dalam produksi karya video podcast memiliki fungsi yang sama seperti pembuatan karya lainnya. Bastian Cleve mengatakan, Production Manager bertugas untuk mengoordinir, memfasilitasi dan mengawasi segala persiapan dan proses produksi mulai dari hal paling awal hingga paling akhir produksi. Kata kunci : Video Podcast, Manager Produksi, Podcast. ABSTRACT Production manager is a profession that is involved in a production activity. As the name implies, a person with this profession carries out his obligation to carry out everything that is needed during the process starting from pre-production to post-production. This paper will describe the role of the production manager in the production of a video podcast tiktalk entitled "JALAN SANG RELAWAN" as the fulfillment of a final assignment in the Media Production management program. Angga Rahmana, the resource person who will tell his story directly is a young man with a disadvantaged background with all his shortcomings who is able to become an agent of change from the social problems that occur in his village. Angga is a resource person who is able to tell the story in detail and has good speaking skills. Podcasts really need a good story to tell, but they also need attention. Therefore, Angga and his story are considered a complete package to be used as a video podcast work. Production managers in the production of video podcast works have the same function as creating other works. Bastian Cleve said, the Production Manager is to coordinate, facilitate and assist all preparation and production processes from the very beginning to the very end.
