dc.description.abstractSnakebite is considered a global health issue, especially in the Southeast Asian region. In Indonesia, a valid source for national epidemiology on snakebite cases have not been available. There are still very limited data regarding snakebite cases and are only obtainable from hospital-based case reports. The aims of the research are to acknowledge the overview of venomous snakebite cases in West Java and does the national snake antivenom (SABU) have any significant effect when used to treat venomous snakebite other than the snake species indicated in the SABU formula available.
