Abstract
This thesis is entitled "Short Story Analysis Hermeneutics " HOC " Nose Nikolai Vasilevich Gogols creation". In this thesis discusses the meaning and interpretation of the state of Russian society in the early of 19th century are reflected in the story. In this study, descriptive analysis using the theory of hermeneutics Paul Ricouer. Data sources obtained from the Russian-language short story entitled "HOC" Nose Nikolai Vasilevich Gogols creation that is downloaded from www.lib.ru. These results indicate that in the short story "HOC" Nose Nikolai Vasilevich Gogols work are social satire against social politics of the time.
