Abstract
ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini berjudul “Penanda Kekuasaan Angela Merkel sebagai Kanselir pada Karikatur Karya Heiko Sakurai dalam Website www.sakurai-cartoons.de†.Skripsi ini ditujukan untuk menjelaskan tanda kekuasaan apa saja yang muncul dan jenis kekuasaan yang muncul berdasarkan tanda yang muncul pada karikatur Angela Merkel. Objek penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah lima karikatur Angela
Merkel dalam website Heiko Sakurai dari tahun 2010 sampai 2012. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah deskriptif-analisis. Penulis menggunakan teori semiotik Saussure (1915) sebagai teori utama. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tanda-tanda yang menunjukkan penggambaran kekuasaan Angela Merkel terdiri dari tanda verbal berupa teks dan tanda nonverbal berupa gestur, mimik dan gambar. Jenis kekuasaan yang muncul adalah kekuasaan sah dan kekuasaan pakar.
ABSTRACT
The title of this thesis is “Markers of Power Angela Merkel as Chancellor on the work of Heiko Sakurai’s Caricature in www.sakurai-cartoons.de Website†. This thesis is intended to explain the sign of power and the kind of power that appears on the sign that appears at the caricatures of Angela Merkel. Object of research in this thesis are five caricatures of Angela Merkel in a website Heiko
Sakurai from 2010 to 2011. The method that the author use is descriptive analysis method. The author uses semiotic theories of Saussure (1915) as the main theory. The results of this thesis indicate that the signs that show the power of Angela Merkel’s depiction of verbal signs such as text and nonverbal signs such as gesture, expression and images. The kind of power that appears are legitimate
power and expert power.
