Abstract
Pengujian reaksi silang
komponen darah Whole Blood (WB) dan Packed Red Cells (PRC) dilakukan secara rutin di bank darah Rumah Sakit Dokter Hasan Sadikin. Komponen darah
dites reaksi silang untuk nantinya diserahkan kepada bagian yang meminta. Tetapi
ada kalanya darah yang telah dites reaksi silang tidak diambil atau
dikembalikan. Hal ini tentu saja membuat waktu, tenaga, dan biaya yang
dilakukan untuk tes reaksi silang menjadi sia-sia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui rasio jumlah darah
yang telah dites reaksi silang (yang diminta) dan jumlah darah yang
ditransfusikan (yang diserahkan), atau Crossmatch to Transfusion ratio (C/T ratio). Penelitian
dilakukan dengan metode
retrospektif deskriptif, menggunakan formulir permintaan darah sebagai
sumber informasi. Melihat
hasil C/T ratio dapat dicari cara
untuk menanggulangi pelaksanaan tes reaksi silang yang sia-sia. Hasil
penelitian ini memperlihatkan C/T ratio
untuk WB sebesar 16.3 sedangkan untuk PRC sebesar 1.8. Hasil C/T ratioWB lebih besar dari yang disarankan (Crossmatch test for blood

Sadikin’s blood bank. The crossmatched
blood then send to departement that asked for it. But sometimes the
crossmatched bloods are unused or being sent back. This makes all the money,
time, work that has been used for the test become useless. The aim of
this study is calculating the Crossmtched/Tranfusion ratio for WB and PRS in Rumah Sakit Dokter Hasan Sadikin’s blood bank. This is a descriptive retrospective study, using blood request form
as the source of information, we count the amount of blood that
demanded, and issued, then we calculate the C/T ratio. Using the C/T ratio that
we found we could find the way to avoid doing useless crossmatch test. The
result shows C/T ratio fro WB is 16.3, while for PRC is 1.8. C/T ratio for WB is bigger than the
recommendation (strategies to make it more effective
