ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini berjudul “Kesalahan Gramatikal Pada Pola Kalimat Sederhana Bahasa InggrisSiswa SMP Plus Al-Aqsha Kelas VIII Unggulan.†Fokus dalam skripsi ini adalahpermasalahan yang terdapat pada pemerolehan bahasa kedua (Bahasa Inggris) yang meliputikesalahan gramatikal dengan metode error analysis diakibatkan oleh interferensi (pengaruhbahasa pertama) dan yang tidak tepengaruh bahasa pertama. Penelitian ini dilakukan untukmengetahui sejauh mana kesalahan yang terjadi saat pemerolehan bahasa kedua (BahasaInggris). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif yaitu datadideskripsikan secara sistmatis berdasarkan teori sintaksis Bahasa Inggris. Teori dasar yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah surface strategy taxonomy yang digagas oleh Heidi Dulayet al. Mendeskripsikan kesalahan gramatikal baik yang dipengaruhi oleh bahasa pertama (BahasaIndonesia) dan yang tidak dipengaruhi bahasa pertama (Bahasa Indonesia) merupakan fokus
tujuan penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh bukti dua kesalahan; yang dipengaruhi bahasapertama (error of omission dan error of ordering) dan tidak terpengaruh bahasa pertama ( errorof addition dan error of selection)
This thesis is entitled “ Kesalahan Gramatikal Pada Pola Kalimat sederhana bahasa Inggris Siswa SMP Plus Al-Aqsha Kelas VIII Unggulan.†The focus of this thesis is the problems in second language acquisition (English Language) including grammatical error caused by first language (L1) or interference and not by first language (L1). This research is conducted to find the error analysis when the learners learning second language. The method used is descriptive method, i.e. the method that explains the problem of language systematically of the pattern of English and Indonesia language. The ground theory of this research is surface strategy taxonomy by Heidi Dulay et al. To describe the grammatical errors influenced by the first language (Indonesian Language) and the ones not influenced by the first language are the main purposes of the research. From the result of the research, it is shown by the number of errors analysis divided into two majors classification; influenced by L1 (error of omission and error of ordering) and not influenced by L1 (error of addition and error of selection).
