dc.description.abstract	This research aims to see the relationship of election socialization with the attitudes of the students as a novice voters towards the election of Cimahi City in 2017 with the perspective of information integration theory which is divided into six identification problems, which are the relationship of messages’ valence and the quality of information with cognitive, affective, and Conative aspects. The research method used in this research is correlational quantitative research method. The research data was obtained through distributing questionnaires to 95 respondents and observation also interview conducted at the office of General Election Commission of Cimahi City. The result of this research is to reveal that the messages’ valence and the information’s quality in election socialization conducted by General Election Commission have significant relationship in shaping the novice voters’ attitude from the cognitive, affective, and conative aspects towards Cimahi’s Mayor Election of 2017.
