Item Analysis of Irrigation Performance on Gross Irrigated Agriculture Output (GIAO) Indicators in Bandung Regency Period 2008-2012 Using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Regression Method(2015-04-16) WAHYUDIN; Wawan Hermawan; Bagdja MuljarijadiAbstract. Sustainability of the irrigation system to support economic growth in the agricultural sector and support food security programs require reliability performance of irrigation in irrigation management (including operation, maintenance and rehabilitation). This study aims to determine the level of relative efficiency of irrigation management in Bandung regency in the period 2008 to 2012 with the non-parametric approach Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and analyze the factors that affect the performance of irrigation using regression models approach (random-effect model). The results obtained in the analysis of Variable Return to Scale (VRS) conditions nearly 50% are in a perfectly efficient level, with efficient DMU growth during the lapse of 5 years is relatively dynamic. While the results obtained variable regression method of irrigation management fund, irrigation networks, the availability of water, agricultural laborers, average variable length of school and irrigation performance of the previous year effect significantly to the performance of irrigation. The influence of the significant variables will give different effects as the influence of the characteristics of the area so that irrigation management for each region can not be uniform, but need to be adapted to the characteristics of the region.
